Treatment process for composite resin veneers

Composite resin veneers can be applied in just one appointment and last up to eight years. This treatment is relatively quick and is useful for concealing chips, cracks and other imperfections. One of our prosthodontists may also recommend this treatment as part of treatment to close space between teeth

Treatment for porcelain veneers

For this treatment, you’ll need two appointments. The first appointment is when impressions of your teeth are taken and sent to the lab to create the porcelain veneers. In the meantime, your teeth will be prepared and temporary veneers placed. Preparing your teeth for porcelain veneers involves removing a minimal amount of enamel to allow the veneers to be bonded to your teeth seamlessly.

The second appointment is when your temporary veneers are removed and the more permanent veneers are bonded to your teeth.  Porcelain veneers can last up to ten years, and are stain resistant.
